    Detailed Product Description
Welding: Submerged Arc Welding Welding Flux: Submerged Are Welding
    Agglomerated: Agglomerated Flux

    SUBMERGED ARC WELDING FLUX

Name of products: Agglomerated flux SJ302

    Silicon- Calcium Agglomerated flux

    Execute standards: GB/T 5293-1999 GB F5A2-H08MnA;

    ( Equivalent to AWS F7A2 -EM12K; AWS F7A0 – EL12; )

    Description of flux :

Agglomerated flux SJ302 is a kind of agglomerated flux type Silicon and Calcium with ball form granular of brown, Bllw≈1.1;about 10 – 60 mesh in size. It is suitable for AC or DC(+) power. It has stable ARC, neat bead appearance and shows good weld-ability. The slag detachability is better than that of SJ301. it is suitable for the girth welding of different diameter. This flux has good anti-humidity absorption. The anti-cracking property is better than other flux with good impact toughness.

    Application of Welding Flux:

In combination with wire EL8, EM12K, EA1 and etc. this flux is suitable for the welding of structures, boilers, pipelines and etc.

Typical Flux Composition Range: ( %)

    SIO2+ TIO2 CaO + MgO MNO+AL2O3 CAF2 OTHERS
    20—25 % 20 + 25% 30—40% 8 -- 10% ---

    Typical Mechanical Properties Of :

    Tested value 590 460 32 100 / 90 / 130

    Guideline for usage:

1.--- Dry the flux at 300℃ – 350℃ for 2 hours before use.

    2. ---Completely remove Rust, Oil and Dirt from the groove surface prior to welding.

    NOTE:

Agglomerated flux use a binding agent to hold materials together, are baked, and broken up. Agglomerated fluxes are easier to customize for an application, and can provide various alloying elements needed for welding.
